I ordered a youth size and they are just right for my size 7 feet. I think the adult size heel part would have gone to far and up the back of my calf . I am a short old lady They are warm as can be and beautiful made. I am very happy

While the socks look nice, I expected more. They are not very stretchy and it’s a rather odd material. I would have ordered a size bigger if I would have known about the lack of stretch.
